News brought to you from Teresa Ali-Olivas

The new "2009-2010 Artists Guide" will be distributed throughout Silver City and adjacent areas the latter part of May.

Artists, art studios, galleries, and art patron's names and addresses are listed along with maps and directions.

Included are sample pictures of art by the individual artists along with short personal statements regarding their art.

The guide is an excellent way of taking the current artistic pulse of our area's ART.

Side Note: It takes countless volunteer hours to accomplish this huge task of bringing The Guide to publication.

The goal of the Guide is to bring tourism to Silver City to buy our art.

THANK YOU to Libby Beck and the other committee members for your tireless efforts toward organizing our information for this beautiful publication.
Artist Quote
"The atmosphere penetrates me with such sweetness that without really trying, an ever greater assurance rises up within me. Color takes hold of me. I do not need to look for it, it possesses me."
