December 19, 2008: San Vicente Artists of Silver City are preparing to print the new 2009 Artists Guide and want to ensure that the gallery list for the area is complete. There are three ways to be on the gallery list and all have merits.

1. A gallery with a member in SVA is listed under the artist’s section if the artist gives us the gallery name.

2. The gallery can become a patron for $40.00 and then the gallery would be listed both in the gallery and the patron pages with a link to their website.

3. The gallery can join as a member for $65.00 and have two listings--one in the member section with a photograph of art along with a 25-word statement and a second listing in the gallery list.

Number 2 and 3 above get you a place on the newly redesigned www.silvercityartists.org website with a link to your website.

We print 20,000 of The Artists Guide each year. It is distributed widely in several states and all over New Mexico. This year we have our member and patron drive now until February 14th and will go to the printers no later than May. We have a 6-member committee working on it to ensure faster progress. The rest is up to the members. We are getting all art on discs as well as member statements for uniformity and readability. We are providing the discs free.
