About San Vicente Artists of Silver City

San Vicente Artists of Silver City (SVA) is a not-for-profit trade arts organization in New Mexico. It was organized in 1992 to promote artists and visual art in Southwest New Mexico. The name originates from historic Silver City name of LaCienega de San Vicente. In recent years many artists have come to Grant County to live in Silver City and surrounding towns. SVA prints a well-known gallery and artists’ guide to promote the arts and bring in tourists from the four state areas of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Texas. Its main purpose is to promote local artists young and old to show and sell their artwork.

San Vicente Artists of Silver City Thank Their Members, Patrons and The Town of Silver City Community Promotions (Lodger’s Tax Promotions) for making possible the Annual Artists & Galleries Guide and the San Vicente Artists web site, both of which strive to promote Silver City, NM as a vibrant art community and tourist destination.
